INITIAL CONTACT
We will review your contact form and be in touch with you shortly thereafter to ask a few questions and schedule a follow-up.
FOLLOW-UP CALL
At this time, we will get to know each other and get a better feel for what you are looking for your event—the general flow, the vibe, the location, and discuss anything else that you desire in making your event as special as you imagine. This usually takes no more than 30 minutes and can be by phone or video.
QUOTE and CONTRACT SENT
After getting a better feel for your event from the follow-up, we will put together a custom quote for you, as well as a contract that will detail what entertainment elements we will provide for your event.
RETAINER TO HOLD DATE
In order to hold your date, we ask for a 50% retainer within 7 days of the contract being provided.
QUESTIONNAIRE
We will send you our questionnaire that will help us get a more precise idea of what type of music you are expecting for your event. This will include special dances, must-plays and anything else that you need us to know. We encourage you to share some songs via Spotify playlist so that we can get an even better idea of your unique tastes.
OUR PLANNING BEGINS
Once we have received your questionnaire and playlist is when we really get to work. We start designing a custom set specifically for your event and begin working on logistics and other technical aspects.
IN-PERSON MEETING
Many of our clients like to meet in-person at the venue to discuss details of the general flow of the event as more details develop. We love to have a meeting to help understand the layout of the venue and to continue developing the relationship with our clients.
PLANNING CONTINUES
We continue to work on the curation and streamlining of the music for your event. We do DJ rehearsals in our studio and put together the “nuts and bolts” of the technical aspects of your event. At this stage, we further work with your planner to get the minutia of the schedule perfected.
FINAL BALANCE PAID
We ask that your final balance be paid 30-days prior to the event.
LAST CALL TO FINALIZE DETAILS
We like to have a quick call to make sure to review final details or note any minor changes in the schedule or any other details that may need to be addressed.
DAY OF EVENT
It’s the big day! Depending on the complexity of your event, we will arrive anywhere between one and three hours before the start time for setup and sound check. We strive to work “in the background” and to have all questions answered and details set well prior to our arrival so that we can show up, set up and be ready to go well before start time. Let’s celebrate!
This is only a loose timeline and we will be flexible with you on most details that you would like to be handled differently. And of course, we can be contacted by any means, anytime.
